2013 Instagram Photo Calendar

The calendar is printed on a nice matte paper and comes unbound, so there's some flexibility in how you want to display it. When each month is done, you can cut off the calendar portion, and keep a little 5x5 print (if you'd like :)).

For the month of November, 25% of all calendar sales will be donated to local Hurricane Sandy relief efforts

You can see more info and purchase it on Lingered Upon blog.

A Little Robot Advent Calendar

Have you already made your advent calendar yet?
Do you have any idea or buy some for this Christmas?
Nicx at Next to Nicx blog have uploaded the cute Robot Advent Calendar template
for you to download. This one is without charge \(^_^)/

They're realy cute ^^

For this project you’ll need:
  • 12 sheets of 220 gsm cream card
  • A printer (I used an inkjet as it seems to take the card a lot better)
  • Double sided tape or quick drying glue
  • A ruler
  • An x-acto knife or scalpel
  • Some ribbon or bakers twine if you intend to hang them up
  • Little presents
Each of these little guys ends up 6cm tall and 4.5cm wide. The head is 4.5 cm wide x 2.8 cm tall x 2.8 cm deep (the perfect size for a little present or chocolate!)

To start, print the PDF file below onto 12 sheets of A4 220 gms card in your choice of colour.
Then cut out each body and head using an x-acto knife and ruler. Score along the dotted lines.

Fold along the two dotted and scored lines on the body of the robot. This makes his base.

Next, fold along all the dotted and scored lines on the head piece.

Carefully place the ‘neck’ tab into the two slots on the base of the head as shown.

At this point he looks a bit like this!

Place double sided tape or glue onto the 4 box side support tabs as shown.

At this point you fill his cute little head with sweet ideas!

Fold down the two large side pieces and fold up the two little support brackets.

Then fold in the small back panel and bring the top of his head over into place.
Sliding the locking tab into the cut on the back panel.
The two little support brackets slide into place where his antenna is.

And he’s finished!
Straighten up his antenna and create his 23 little friends and you’re ready to thread them all
onto a ribbon or to hook them onto a tree or wreath.

Or you can purchase the printed, cut and scored pieces here

Thank you so much for your kindness, Nicx.

Then I'll print the picture out and cut it into pieces.
After that I'll put them on the top of my pencils and follow the instruction
as seen on the bottom right of the picture.... so easy : D

Let's make them for your own and your kids.
I'm sure, they'll like them.

Charity paper dolls, outfits, printables, raising money, and world prematurity day

Have you heard about Bliss and Prematurity Day before?
I just know that Saturday 17 November 2012 is Prematurity Day
and this year Bliss is getting behind the international campaign to raise awareness
of the 15 million babies who are born too soon each year.

Laura has introduced (in cupcakes for clarathree ways you can help raise money for Bliss,
and two fancy new products that she hope you will love.

~ You can purchase this gorgeous single outfit card from the shop. It has been designed by Caitlin Verlinden, aged nine. Caitlin was the winner of the grand design an outfit for Clara competition, and 200 of these cards have been printed up to raise money for Bliss.
Each card costs £1.75 which includes UK postage (international postage is subsidised). Every single penny of the proceeds will go directly to Bliss, which means at least £1.20 from each card will go to Bliss.

- Beautifully printed on FSC 300gsm card stock. Each card is 85mm x 54mm.

- Please note this set does not include a Clara doll. Only a single outfit card.
Clara cards with the doll on can be purchased separately.

Laura has created an extra special downloadable Clara paper doll card full of outfits, and a Clara paper doll, designed by some extremely talented children. The competition runners up who have been included in this pdf are Kira Ingram aged six, Jonas aged eight, Noelle aged six, Bo Colston aged eight, and Caitlin's outfit has also been included. There is also a colour your own outfit on the sheet.

~ If you donate any amount of money to Bliss (even one pound) through the brand new Cupcakes for Clara JustGiving page then you will receive the very special downloadable paper doll pdf. Clara paper dolls have never been available to download before so this is super exciting, and it's the only way to get one!

~ And she is donating all of the profits from every paper doll or outfit sold in her etsy shop this weekend.

Every single penny counts for Bliss, so please do donate even if it is a very small amount.

Washi Tape Gift Tags DIY

I get up so early today (before 4 am) and just find the colourful washi tape gift tags at Decor8 blog
They are SUPER EASY to make using simple tags, fabrics and washi tape. (*_*)

After you find the fabrics you love, you tear them into strips (or cut neatly if neat is your thing)
and then lay out your washi tapes and see which colors work with your fabrics.

Once you have your tags , start tearing your washi tape by hand into strips, in all lengths and widths.
Raw torn edges look best. Layer them, create patterns, do whatever works and stick washi tape
on ONE side of the tag, trimming the edges so that you aren’t folding the tape over the tag
to the other side – you want the other side to be washi-free so you can write your message there.
Loop the fabric through and tie it. You can also use ribbon instead of fabric, of course,
but this is more unique. (^_^)b

These are so pretty. I'll make my own this weekend.
