Can you imagine your filling to dining in a tree pod which is 16 feet or around 5 metres over the rainforest ground?
The Tree pod dining is at Soneva Kiri by Six Sences on Koh Kood, Trad Province, Thailand. It's situated along the coastal path on the west facing side of Koh Kood.
The tree pod is engineered with a rigid frame swathed in woven rattan, is not unlike a cocoon with an open panorama window. You can look out onto panoramic views of the white sand beach and turquoise waters.
Up to four diners board the pod, and are then elevated to the lofty height by a system of safety winches. Food courses arrive courtesy of a flying waiter – harnessed to a zip line – as do beverage replenishments.
Koh Kood is a remote beautiful island situlated in the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It is the fourth largest in Thailand, but one of the least developed. It is known for its white sand beach, pure water falls, crytal clear waters and traditional village life.
Trat is Thailand’s eastern-most province, located about 315 kilometers from Bangkok.
Both 4-5 hour slow boats and one hour speedboats from Laem Ngob and Dan Kao Piers in Trat Province provide service to the island though nicer resorts have their own boat service.

It's easy to go to Soneva Kiri. Fights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Soneva Kiri Airport take 60 minutes by private plane, and there it is just 2 kilometres by speed boat to the resort's arrival pier.
Amazing Thailand always amazes you!
